ARGH!

my brother in law, who was supposed to let me use his garage and tools to change brakes today, made plans and is doing it tomorrow. so sitting here this morning waiting on him to call me back i lost half a day ... too much stuff to cram into the rest of today and tomorrow to make it to cbus.

i even put flats on the peavey ... after i took the DR's off it and put em on the ibby. cleaned and oiled the fingerboard and everything.
cool thing is that the action on the ibby is just perfect now ... just by changing strings. the peavey looks like a cheese slicer though ... lol. time for a setup.

Yeah, it wasn't as big as last year's GTG but there were 2 Laklands that I fell in love with. Thanks Ewo for bringing those. BTW EagleMoon, your Sadowsky was to die for as well. Too bad it was missing a string or I would have traded the Elrick to you for it. I liked it that much.

Will a 700 RBII or a 1001 RBII fit in the same air head cavity as the Carvin? If so, you can get a 700 RBII fairly reasonable in the TB classifieds. There's usually 2 or 3 there at a time.

We don't need a crowd. We had fun without a crowd. There was enough cool stuff to give me a little GAS. I now want a Lakland 55-01 so I can drop some Big Singles and an Aggie preamp in it. I also want a Sadowsky. My wife hates you but I thank you. :bassist:

I had requested the day off @ work as soon as a date was settled on, but...well, I wasn't there, was I? :hiding:

I'm moving to a new apartment in a new town (only 7 miles away, though), and between trying to get that done and get the old place cleaned up -I had a little flooding problem during this last weeks' thunderstorms- I went and got sick!
Don't know what I have, but man is it kicking my butt. Went to bed Thursday night with a fever of 103.7. It was down to 99.8 by morning, and back up to 100.2 by the end of the night. Fever is gone now, but I spent all day coughing so hard that I was gagging and throwing up, and because of that, I'm losing my voice.

It was a fun day.

Yes, its a 2u rackspace, but I'd prefer a 1001RBII to have the power the LDS cab is built to handle. Ya know, just in case I ever need that much power...

Nope, it's just I played your Hane for about 15 minutes and played the Lakland 2 times for about 45 minutes each time. Your Hane was a great sounding and feeling instrument. The neck was what made it great to me.
