Still waiting on capn' to post up the venue details. As of right now even I don't know exactly where the place is. But I have seen pics of the inside. The venue should suit our gtg very nicely.

This information is set. Make your plans to attend if you haven't already. I counted the parking spots using google maps satellite image. There are 48 normal parking spots, and 2 handicapped access spots.

Also, judging from the pictures that capn took when he visited the venue, and the other information he provided, we should have no problems housing 25 people + gear. This means we'll have more than adequate space.

If you know anyone that might be interested in attending, please give them all the info for the event.

Also, if anybody has an amp head that pushes 500+ watts at 8 ohms, please bring it. I'd love to try a variety of heads through my LDS cab and compare to my Carvin BX1200.

I invited one of my former co-workers to show up. He plays in his church band. Will also try to get one of my friends to come even though he has no gear at this time.

I'm thinking about finally showing up to one of these. What's it like? Being a bass player, I still have a hard time imagining what a herd of them would be like. Would it be like a herd of meat-eating bunny rabbits trying to make eachother's fur fall out?

It's awesome. A relaxed atmosphere of fellow bassists just trying out basses and amps, and talking shop about everything bass, and everything not bass. Pretty much just a big hangout event where everyone happens to play bass.
