Combining cabs with a head

So, I read the FAQ on Watts, Ohms, etc., and I just wanted to make sure I was reading it correctly:

My head is an SWR Workingman 4004. It's rated at 400 watts @ 4 ohms. My current cabinet is a Hartke XL410 - 260 watts @ 8 ohms.

If I read the FAQ on ohms and watts correctly, then I can add another 140 watt cabinet @ 8 ohms for a combined 400 watts @ 4 ohms. Is that right? Did I miscalculate?

Your second cabinet can be well over 140 watts-you're not limited to the number of watts your amp is capable of putting out.

correct. and you're better off getting something that will take more than 140w since your cabs will be splitting the 400w from your amp evenly. the power handling rating for your cab(s) have nothing to do with how much your amp puts out, but how much it can take before it blows speakers.
