combo gig amp, which?

ive recently started playing with a new band and i need a reasonably priced combo amp that'll stand up to a very loud and crashing drummer. preferably around $600 would be best. i have no idea about which amps are better for what and some suggestions would be great. thanks

One combo that might suit you is the Yorkville Sound XM200 which is available in either 1X15" or 2X10" formats. It will also drive an extension cabinet. I used one for a year and it sounds very good and plays pretty loud. I was playing at the time with a loud, crashing drummer and an equally loud guitar player. The Yorkville is solid and reliable too. They're made in Canada but available in the USA. I paid $599 Canadian for mine so the US price should be just under $500. They also make more powerful combos.

Yorkville Sound is definitely worth checking out.
