Commercials that make you cringe

The commercial with the construction worker at the work site who's talking about what will happen when his laxative finally kicks in and there is a big truck dumping a huge load of bricks right behind him (as if we need that symbolic visual to understand what the **** he's talking about).

Any of those commercials for antibacterial wipes in which nervous moms psychotically follow their children around all day and wipe down every ******* item that might possibly come into contact with and contaminate their precious offspring.

 GRRRRRRR!

My name is (insert politician here) and I approve this message.

REALLY!??!?!?!!?!?!?

Well thanks, I approve your stupidity.

"My name is (insert politician here) and I approve this message."

Is the exact wording required by law for these types of ads. The FEC would come after them if they didn't say this. :p

Although these types of ads usually are quite stupid. :D

I'm stunned at how many types of junk food get to be "official sponsors" of Olympic athletes.

Like these highly conditioned specimens of humanity are going to be snacking on Doritos and Snickers bars in between lunch at McDonald's and supper at Burger King every day. :rollno:

I have said it before, but the worst commercial in history is the Vonage commercial with that slug of a woman and douche bag phone company guy. Not only do I hate it, it plays almost every break on every channel I watch. People that are marketing savvy would tell you that the fact you remember it means that it did what it was intended to do. I, however, reject that sentiment due to the fact that I will boycott products if they have horrendous advertising campaigns.

Oh, I will just say that TiVo may be th greatest human achievement since the wheel.

Why not? They need the calories. It's not like they sit on their ass all day.
