Complaints about bass gear weight

Even with my light gear, i use one of these for longer hauls:

We use a hand cart but that one takes the cake. I have to look into that. Folds away to nothing.

Use one of these myself. 20 or 25 buck I think at Sams Club

If you get a foldable hand cart, make sure the wheels lock into position so you can roll in either direction without them wanting to fold back up. I found one at Lowe's for $34, called MagnaCart. Handles 150 lbs. Heh, that's more than twice my whole rig.

Really depends on what the 2 "big" rigs were. An old sealed 810/610/412 vs a pair of newer ported 115s stacked? Have played through the GK New 412 for a nice sound, hasn't pulled me off track for a pair of 115s though.

Well the second was much "bigger". Modulus 5 string, Aguilar 412 and head. First was Fender P (not squier) and a 115/210 stack. I think they were Legion Sound. Not sure of the head.

So maybe that was part of it.

So I read alot of stories where people so "I love the sound but ohhhhh the weight." Personally I love having something I need help lifting on stage or loading in the vehicle. Makes me feel more like I am in a band.

And people can say it all they want but a 200 pound bass cab would pound a mudhole in someone's boutique 115.

I live on both sides of the street..... my one rig is a Genz Benz Shuttlemax 9.2 w/ Uber 410, my other rig is an SVT-CL w/SVT-810e!

I got mine at an airport.
I used to lug two Goliath cabs and a rack. Down two flights, in the car, drive. Out of car, into club. Gig.
3 AM, back in the car, drive. Out of car, back UP the two flights. I was 25 then. These days, light stuff wins. But I still have that heavy stuff. Just in case.

Pretty hard to make a modulus bass sound bad IMO.

I have one like that. They are great carts. I used to use it all the time when I played Legions but I hardly ever get to use them now since they don't work well on stairs.
