Compression pedals

Gingerfish said:
What pedals are there for someone who wants to try out compression, ive seen a boss one but think it was guitar was something like CS-3, would this be useable on bass or would the ferequencies be hugely off? thanks Jon
I use the CS-3 full-time. It works very well. I play 5-string with a low-B, and there's maybe a tad of attenuation on the lowest frequencies, but it's very minimal, if at all.

I've had this one a long time, and didn't really shop or compare with other pedals, but I am familiar with rackmount studio compressors, and this one is definately no slouch.
