Compressor & Para EQ in fx loop????

Hey TB!

SHould I run a compressor and parametric eq in the effects loop of my demeter, or run them in between the deme and the power amp? I do not want to distort the natural tone of the deme at all, just enhance it slightly.

In either case, the compressor and the EQ will be after the Pre-amp circuit of your Deme. So it really shouldn't matter.

I'd run it in the Effect's Loop.

I believe that you get a different (and better) sound if you use a compressor before EQ. I love the sound of adding low end boost to a compressed signal.

Just a suggestion to try the bass into the Compressor into the Demeter Pre and see how it sounds.
