When insering a compressor/limiter/gate into the signal path of a DSP amp-modelling preamp, do I use the pre-DSP insertion point or the post-DSP insertion point?
its really up to you to decide where it goes, however, i would say that if you want to give it an even signal to put into the DSP, then put it before, if you want a larger dynamic range to go into the DSP, but then want to even out the sound after that, put it after...persoanlly, i'd put it before
