Compressor: Pre-DSP or post-DSP?

its really up to you to decide where it goes, however, i would say that if you want to give it an even signal to put into the DSP, then put it before, if you want a larger dynamic range to go into the DSP, but then want to even out the sound after that, put it after...persoanlly, i'd put it before :)
