Compressor Suggestions...

Hey all....I’m looking for some compressor suggestions. Here is my set up:
P-Bass w/flats played with pick
Genzler 800/2 x 12 cab
Clean tone/no OD used
Looking for a quiet comp/easy to use to smooth things out.

Your setup is typical. Using a compressor to smooth things out is typical. There are many compressors that would suit "your setup". Recommending a compressor for your set up is like asking someone to recommend a car that will get you to work and back safely.

How much do you want to spend?
What controls must you have and which ones are you OK without?
Do you have any size limitations?
Are you OK with just smooth compression or would you also like it to double as a peak limiter?
Etc.

Keeley Bassist. Done. If you simply want to smooth out the peaks, that’s all the Bassist is on this Earth to do.
