Compressor Suggestions...

Thanks...I’ve read a lot of that already...looking for something more specific for my set up....

Your setup is typical. Using a compressor to smooth things out is typical. There are many compressors that would suit "your setup". Recommending a compressor for your set up is like asking someone to recommend a car that will get you to work and back safely.

How much do you want to spend?
What controls must you have and which ones are you OK without?
Do you have any size limitations?
Are you OK with just smooth compression or would you also like it to double as a peak limiter?
Etc.

So in general, if you want a compressor to smooth things out you could look at compressors from the following list which isn't comprehensive:
Empress
Keeley
Becos
JoeMeek
Rothwewll
Smoothie
RT Electronix
Union Tube & Transister
Amptweaker
Boss Bass compressor
Markbass
Effectrode
Broughton
Darkglass
Dedalo
EBS
FEA
G-Lab
MXR
Pettyjohn
Seymour Duncan
Strymon
Vick Audio
Walrus Audio
Wampler
Whirlwind

Moral of the story. Read up on the compressors and decide what size, price point, and features are most appealing. Good news is there are plenty of options.
