Hey, hey everyone! I wasn't sure where to put this so please move if needed.
The title really says it all, but for more context:
I've been doing a ton of reseach over the years into Peter Steele's bass set up for Type O Negative and it occured to me that, while I do have a DS1, CH1, and DD3 like he used, there was something missing from my copycat set up: a sustainer. Now, I don't want to modify by bass (I'm using an LTD F-414fm set up and tuned to B standard) for a Sustainiac. I love my EMGs a little too much to want to give them up. I've seen- here and there- that the Fernandes Sustainer is more powerful than the Sustainiac so I was wondering if I could emulate that part of his bass rig with a compression/sustainer pedal. I don't know anything about these things. I do like, and use, Behringer pedals for those hard-to-find BOSS pedals and that's what I was looking at using: a Behringer CS400 just to get me started. Any recommendations and advice would be greatly apprecated! Thank you so much!
