Sweet looking Starcaster! My dad's in the process of restoring one right now that was left in an attic, without a case, for quite a few years. It's a shame, really. I'll try to get him to send me some progress pics to see how it's coming along. I think it's that same sunburst, but the entire thing has become a darker brown shade. Very cool looking. He had an all natural one years back that I loved.

I have other g*****s, but I came by them honestly. For the most part, I bought cheap versions of what I wanted and then modded my way to perfection. The only stock g***** I own is my Taylor 355ce.

The Starfield Altair Custom in the link above is identical to one that a guy I knew used to play back in the '80's. He got an amazing collection of sounds out of that thing. I want those sounds.

Oh no! My 12-year old son lusts after these brass harlets.. there seems to be no talking him out of it either!

He even joined the sax section in the Jr High band at his school.. what am I gonna do with him? When will he understand and embrace the 'groove'?

I lusted after a theremin and I got it. I've also lusted after numerous hand drums and have numerous hand drums. I'm currently lusting after a new djembe. A dumba$$ drummer friend of mine hit it with some sticks and broke the skin on the head. Yay.

Guitars... i have a cheapie acoustic Fender. No real desire to play. Never really pick it up. I know I should, but I'm more attracted to hand drums. There confession done.

I had some nice flutes and Piccolo's. My old 733 Professional flute, and my 4sh piccolo both from Gemeinhardt, sold them awhile back.
