Does anyone out there have one to sell or have seen one for sale anywhere? I saw one last week on ebay and just as I went to buy it, it got scooped up. It's killing me that it slipped through my fingers.

Wow what a steal. That seller had no idea what he had there....none.

That is only the fourth one I've seen for sale in over 10 years, including mine. Only 29-30 were built, so they rarely pop up for sale.

Yeah, the price is what kills me the most. Guess I'll wait a couple of years and see if one surfaces. I saw your post about selling yours and then getting it back. That's awesome! If you ever have a brain fart and want to sell it again, let me know ;)

Well hopefully the preamp is okay, it's custom spec'd for Conklin from Bartolini (should be badged GTRP).

Will do CoR Bass. BTW I see you have a few Bill Dickens 7 string basses. Those were cool basses!! I have one of each as well . . The clear finish and the purple. I have the clear one turned into fret-less as I removed the frets and embedded purple heart sawdust in the fret slots. It worked out great!! I wound up getting Bill Dickens to sign the headstocks of both of mine in 2006. :)

Nice! I have 2 GTBDs, one is set for low F# and the other is B. The other 7 was a steal from Guitar Center, custom made back in 96 I think. Been to NAMM a few times, met Bill Conklin and Mike Apperson. I've never met Bill Dickens though. The man is a beast. The blue one is the NAMM model from a couple of years ago.

Hi guys, yeah those GTRP Conklin basses are sweet. I read that there aren't many of them around. If there was one for sale or Ebay or something, how much do you think they would go for? I am curious.

Probably between $800-1000 for one in good shape. There was one on Reverb about a year ago for $1000. You got one to sell?
