Connect 2-4ohm cabs into my R1000 basshead

I don't know what you're refering to by saying "2ohm biamp", there is no such thing with that amp. It's split in two like a PA style poweramp. It's minimums are 2 ohms per channel or 4 ohms bridged...just like any decent poweramp.

Set the switches to "fullrange" and run one of your 15's in each channel and balance their volumes equally. That means vol.1 and vol.2 set the same with the master setting the overall volume for the whole rig. Don't bridge, don't biamp.

That amp has a lot of stuff in it, different ways to configure it, etc. Perhaps reading the manual would be in order???

Not trying to be mean, they're just funny pictures.

Bridging is like tying the 2 poweramps together to make a single, big, one channel amp. This also raises the impedance limit. 4ohms minimim for bridged, 2 ohms per channel when running the 2 amps separately.

Bridging in that amp makes way more power than is needed to drive your cabs and just runs the risk of blowing them, so, set the little grey bridge switch in back to the out position and plug one cab in amp 1 and the other in amp 2 back there.

Then on the front of the amp, set the amp 1 and amp 2 volumes to identical levels because you have identical cabs, that's a good thing. Start with them say 1/3 of the way up to begin with. Then use the master knob below those 2 to control the overall volume of the whole rig. Start with that one say 1/4 of the way up to begin with.

On my 600, nearly all the usable volume was in the first half of the dial with nothing but clipping and distortion after that, that's why I say to start off with them low. Then turn up the bass, turn up the amps input gain a little ways and go about re-adjusting/balancing all the different volumes from there.

There is a ton of controls on those amps and different ways you can configure it and patch in and out....it can be confusing at first.
