Connecting Gallien Krueger MB 115-II to PC

Can I connect my Gallien Krueger MB 115-II to PC via the XLR chain output without causing issue to Gallien Krueger MB 115-II have connected via headphone socket OK but want to play through amp and record . Concerned I may damage amp. Or do I go through a mic setup would prefer direct XLR to PC if it works Thanks

Now looking at a behringer umc22 but still concerned over plugging Gallien Krueger MB 115-II to it through XLR chain output without causing issue. Am just being a bit paranoid. Thanks

If by "chain output" you mean the one marked "direct out", yes, you can plug that into a recording interface.

Use the direct out in the patch bay, rather than the one for the chain output, to connect to your interface. The chain output was meant for GK's powered speakers.

Exactly this - it's the one on the top next to the aux-in and phones-out.

Make sure the pre/post button is set to "post", and you'll send your amp's tone right to you're interface.
