How many speakers are in the cabinet? What is the impedance of those speakers?
If you have a cabinet with multiple speakers you may be able to do some wiring tricks and get the impedance where you want it.

i dont think there is a combination of 4 to 8, but rewiring speakers is the way to do it. example: two 8 ohm drivers in parallel resulting in 4 ohms; two 8 ohm drivers in series resulting in 16 ohms. what cab are we talking about here?
I'm pretty sure their is no reasonable combination of speakers that can be rewired from 4 to 8. Maybe not any at all. I took combinatorics but that was a while ago. You will need to purchase some speakers.
its an eden nemesis 4x10 that sounds pretty solid as a 4ohm, but I'd like to plug in a 15 inch cab to add some extra low end- my amp can only handle a 4ohm load
If those are 16 ohm drivers wired up in a parallel you could get 16 but not 8. If they are either 4 or 16 ohm drivers you could use 2 of them to get you 8. Or you could get a power amp for the 15. Or a different amp, one that is stereo or will drive less than 4 ohms.
