Cool discovery..Squire content

As can be seen by my GL post Im on a PU thing at the moment...anyways. Ive recently discovered that the Duncan Designed PU in my VM P bass is actually more punchy than the PU in my new CV 70's P bass, and there I was thinking the new CV's are wearing a special PU from Fender.
The VM had been in a cupboard for years so it was a neat surprise indeed. Seems those DD PU's are pretty good.

I really liked the sound of the Duncan Designed pickups that they used to (maybe they still do, but they used to, too) put in VM jazz basses. I’m not surprised that their humbucking sibling is just as punchy.
