Looks like it could be the old 9:30 Club in DC.

Holy Cr@p! I've got a guitar the same as the one he's playing in the picture. Back in the 90s I rescued mine out of a pile of garbage in front of my apartment building!

The smaller the venue, the more fun we have together...but isn't that always true?
A band like that is lucky to have someone like Mike Campbell join them. They don't get much better, in my opinion. As for Neil Finn, I'm just not familiar enough with his work to make the same statement. Although, if they are smart enough to bring Campbell on board, Finn must be top notch too.
Yes it is. Seen a lot of small venue shows in the past four years w/ my now 18YO daughter. They are the best, she thinks so too.
Neil Finn is a talented fella and darnn good guitarist as well as vocalist. See Crowded House for his post 80s stuff... I ain't a fan of CH much, but I loved his previous band with older brother Tim, "Split Enz". They did some awesome stuff. I See Red, One Step Ahead, 6 Months in a Leaky Boat and I Hope I Never are some of my favorites. I Got You was their big break thru pop hit. From New Zealand originally, but like all GOOD things from there, Australia is glad to call em ours.
I'm glad he's got the gig, I'm sure it'll help his back balance![]()
