Oh man! I forgot how amazing Neal Smith’s kit was! I love all the traditional and concert toms. I did a bit of research for any other fans of insane set-ups…here is a page from his website showing photos of various sets over the years:

Saw them perform in April of 1972 - Killer Tour - in the Rochester War Memorial Arena, Rochester New York.
Saw them perform again in March of 1973 - Billion Dollar Babies Tour - in the Rochester War Memorial Arena, Rochester New York.

I was 13 and 14 for those shows.
After the Killer show, we hung around outside the hotel they were staying at to see them get out of the limo and go into the hotel (somebody knew which hotel they were staying at).
Which meant all the city buses had stopped running by that time of night (midnight I think).
Seven of us walked from downtown Rochester out to the area we lived, which was a five mile walk,...took us right through the worst ghetto neighborhoods in Rochester.
Nobody was willing to call home for a ride. My parents were long asleep by the time me and my brother got home.
