This photo is from '73. I attended the '74 version of the Tornado Watch music festival in Eau Claire, WI. First time I saw BOC live.
Hmm, while I’m aware that Schacher was in the band after their short period of chart success, the look in that photo, if it were indeed 1968, is very dated. An American band(no pun intended)in 1963 or ‘64 might have gone for that matching collarless jacket thing, like Lonnie…? Mark & The Mysterions with future Funker Mel Schacher at fabled LIONS Drag Strip c1968

…especially after the Beatles hit, but that all got ditched pretty quickly.
If you look at Rudy Martinez and company, the original line-up, during their hot minute in the garage punk summer of ‘66, the vibe is totally street and mop top..
