OMG they are looking down at their feet, They'll never make it in the music biz.
If I was at that show, I'd still be blown away 50+ years later by seeing them both in the same show before either really broke out.

I only saw Floyd once live on the Animals tour at County Stadium in Milwaukee. I had a wonderful time. I drove my lavender '61 6 window Caddy from Madison with 4 friends. I remember 0% of the show. All 4 hits of a tab of Windowpane guaranteed that. After the show, I found my way to my Caddy in the parking lot. There was a flashlight tapping on the window. It was a security guard telling us we were the last car in the parking lot. He asked whose car it was. I said it was mine. I was in the middle in the back seat. We rearranged ourselves. I drove straight out of the parking lot, over the curb, through grass, breakdown lane, across the southbound lanes of Hwy 41, across the median, into the northbound lanes and successfully managed to select the correct exit for I-94 west to Madison. I'm still here, so I must have made it back OK.
EDIT: I had a very expensive ticket for The Wall tour stop at Soldier Field in Chicago (that I lived walking distance from
), but they cancelled that show due to logistical issues and only played New York and L.A. on that tour. I was crushed.

my last PF concert was a thrill / kill, '75 LA Sports Arena, opening nite of 5, 3rd row center. they sucked.
a few nites later it was all made up for with Golden Earring at The Shrine, Emmylou's Hot Band opening.
Two Shure Vocalmaster mixers and Shure mic cases at FOH. Those were the days.
And I'm fine with that.
You're a little behind. Miley hasn't had that long brown hair for more than 10 years now. (I'm pretty sure she has the same number of teeth.)
BTW, that pic was from the 2015 R&R Hall of Fame ceremony, at which Miley gave the induction speech for Joan. Not sure what that other dude is doing there.

Sounds like Buddy's getting ready to retire at the age of 87.
That point in either band’s career is far more interesting to me; not bogged down with any expectations.

I lived in Lake Point Tower by Navy Pier for years, so I could walk to all of the Grant Park festivals. It was awesome. If I were still there, I'd arrive early and be front and center for Mr. Guy. The first time I saw him perform was a 30 minute set carried by the Chicago PBS station in the summer of '65. Been a fan ever since.
