Ah, the Bond car! I saw the actual silver DB5 driven by Bond in the movie at the New York World's Fair in 1965. It was roped off so you couldn't touch it, but the machine gun muzzles were sticking out. I was 14 at the time and thought it was REALLY cool!

I was there in summer of '65 as well. 11 years old. Don't remember a lot being shut down as someone said. I stood and stared at the Bond car for about 1/2 hour at the same vantage point as this picture. Disney's "It's A Small World After All" was the longest line that day. Seemed to take forever. Bell, GM, and Ford had futuristic exhibits. We had a great day.

In my experience, he's one of the few musicians who actually play their signature (bass) guitar. I have the same Root Beer Sparkle Wattplower Mark II that he's been playing for the last couple of years. It's a tone monster. Love it.

I share a band member with the owner of Reverend Guitars which is also in my town. They're doing good things at the shop these days including a newly built studio stage to feature their artists live performances right in house at the factory who they also interview for the podcasts

The Melvins "melvan" tour vehicle. The KISS faces were drawn by Kurt Cobain who would occasionally drive the van for Melvins gigs. Around 1992 it was acquired by a member of a band who opened for The Melvins, and was recently auctioned off on that one site.

I just loved Nighhawks at the Diner, released in late '75. Shortly after it's release, Waits played a solo show at a club on State St. in Madison, WI. Even solo, he was terrific. Old honky tonk upright pianos were made for him!
