The Beatles perform in Hamburg, Germany in 1960.
Oh yes, it was one of the Beatles bubble gum cards, I believe.
And the Sound City head. That must be an early gig at The Rat(Rathskeller)club in Boston, the pivotal punk/new wave venue there.
I spared the story about the Beatles photo with all of them having short hair.
Back when I was a kid in the mid 60s, there were Beatles Bubble Gum cards. Yeah. Like buy the gum and there were several Beatles photo cards that came along.
All in all, there were scores and scores of different Beatles photos. And one of them, the rarest was the Beatles with the buzzed off hair. Of course, an altered photo (no photo shop back then).
So, by accident, I found the bubble gum Beatles card with buzz cuts on Google Images and posted on TalkBass.

The term was "photo retouching", and has been going on since the beginning of photography…

My band opened for the Judy Bats at the Rat many years ago.
Sergio Mendes at home ....He's the short guy with the beard in front. On the far right was an unknown actor who BS'd his way into getting hired to be a carpenter to build Sergio's home studio in Encino,Ca. around 1970. The budding actor is Harrison Ford.
