Great stuff, I'm just not sure who the unlikely Tele devotees are to the right of Les Paul.

L-R: Barney Kessel and Joe Pass.

I wouldn't be too surprised if the shot of Pass was staged as a "gag". He did actually play a Jazzmaster for awhile but I think it was while he was cleaning up at Synonon so it may have even been a "house" instrument.

As far as other jazzers go, I read somewhere that Howard Roberts carried a battered Tele around in the trunk of his car so he could respond quickly to studio calls on the fly.
