Way before the metal days, Ronnie James Dio aka Ronald Padavona, back in the 60s playing bass. Notice his yearbook entry indicates he was a member of the slide rule club lol.

Nineteen year old Jeff Lynne of ELO and The Traveling Wilburys, in the middle....Band was named The Andicaps.
Back in the 80s I went to a Bible college. Petra was really big in those circles at the time. A guy down the hall went to see them and scored front row seats. He was at the end of the little ego stage in the crowd. The downnote hit, the band started, and out runs the singer. Just as he gets to the end of the stage my friend snaps a picture with the flash on. I guess it surprised the dude. The look on his face was hilarious, wide eyed and kinda scared looking. This was in the day when you didnt get to look at your pictures the moment you took them. You had to wait to get them developed, which could take a week or more. (yes kids, we did endure that!) When he opened them it was a riot! Truly the deer in the headlights!
