Joy Division don't look anything at all like Bauhaus.

I was at Joy Division's last gig before Ian Curtis topped himself btw. Birmingham University, which is very near where I live.
I've seen Bauhaus live as well. That guitarist had some funny ideas about tone.

I met their bass player once, when he was stopping at the house of a guy I knew, and we were sitting around the kitchen table, and he was noodling around on the bass, and I couldn't beleive how good he was.
I can't say I liked him much as a person, but it was a real shock to see how good a musician he was.

Frank's folks have taste ... That's the same colour as my room (minus the snow leopard patterned ceiling and doors. Maybe they have em too, just not shown in the photo )

There's a book I'd like to handle (at $73.14 it's a little too pricey to buy) called "The Strat In The Attic: Thrilling Stories of Guitar Archaelogy." Per the blurb:

You need to shop on EBay; I had no idea it had gone out of print, but those Amazon asking prices are not, as a friend would say, ‘reality based’. One completed auction, ended a couple of weeks ago, netted someone both volumes for around $27! The current ones are high, but still under Amazon. Hit the used book stores. Do you have a Half Priced Books near you? Both are a great read; Deke’s a great guy, a real character.
