Love these! Reminds me of my engineering classes at Omega Studios in Rockville MD. back in the late 80s. Their studio A had an API console IIRC. Seeing these has me wishing I had worked a bit (a lot) harder to establish a career in audio. :meh:

I play in a heavy blues trio, and usually when we kick around songs ideas, I hit YouTube and iTunes to hear different versions of songs, just to get some insight into different interpretations. We do stuff, as you'd imagine, from the first three Kings - Freddy, BB, and Albert. I don't know that I was aware of Earl King, I'm very embarrassed to say. Particularly as we do Come On. I must not have looked into that song much, I know my guitar player sent out an MP3 of Stevie's version, and I found Jimi's version on YouTube, but I didn't look further.

Way cool to hear this.....man.....Jimi (and Stevie) really took this some place else, no?

Earl's other well know tune is Trick Bag, which I first became aware of from Johnny Winter's first Alligator Records release.

I should have recognized that photo. I’ve seen this before in a Premier Guitar rig rundown with ZZ Top. The bass was presented to Dusty as a gift by guitar tech Elwood Francis.

Yeah Pat's fine looking for sure, and at one point I had a bit of a thing going with a woman about your wife's height, and she was as sexy as f*k. That was purely a sex thing though, from both sides.

Horses for courses though, and for a regular dater type woman I prefer women ideally 5' 10'' to 6' 2'' and slim.
Nowt wrong with taller or shorter women, and nowt wrong with heavier women - that's just my personal preference for being 'out on the street' with.
