Cool rock n roll photos

Planty stood next to me in the bar of my local a few years ago, as his son was playing drums in a band that was on there. I was surprised how tall he was - I'm 6'1'' and he was way taller than me. He did have cowboy boots on though.
Saw him a couple of times at Birmingham Odeon.good old frank

I’m sure he could tell some stories. He is your same height so he must have had some good heels on that day.

I spent about 10 minutes chatting with the man in of course, a bar. It was in Tucson at the historic hotel he was staying at. He likes Tucson because of our artsiness. He was hanging out with some of his band after flying in. He was hilarious. My wife told him that he was her first concert in 1975 (Zep at MSG in NY) and he said “well to be fair, I did have a band with me.” We had a nice chat about how nice it was that the Welsh captured the Tour de France. We never asked for a photo or an autograph. It was nice enough just to laugh with the guy, especially when he joked that he wanted our leftovers.
And yup, he is tall. And pretty cool.
