I was watching "American Pickers" and they found that bus. It was confirmed by an original member of the band, who did not make the cut before the band's first album.

I saw them in concert at the cow barn at Mississippi State University in September 1973. Sawdust on the floor, three rows back, I was standing on a folding chair hearing Tres Hombres for the first time. They were fantastic!
