Cool rock n roll photos

Actually, the guitar player's hair is very rock and roll.

I remember reading that he was considered as the replacement for Ace Frehley when he left KISS back in the '80s, the first time he quit, or was fired, whichever. The guy (cant remember his name), had done some studio work for KISS and was apparently a shredder, but it didnt work out and Vinnie Vincent was brought in. Bet they wish the had worked harder on this guy, after the VV debacle that ensued.

His name is Steve Farris, and he's a highly underrated guitarist, IMO. Even though the Kiss thing didn't work out, he did alright for himself: Steve Farris | Credits | AllMusic

EDIT: Notice that Kiss didn't credit Steve for any playing he did on their albums. No surprise there. o_O

That's it! I knew it was Steve something. I read an article and it talked about how all of those guys have done things musically that you've heard, but had no idea it was them.

As to KISS not giving any credit, no, it's not a surprise.

interesting. I meant no disrespect to Liz Phair, or anyone else here.
I just think she is one talented woman.
No disrespect here either. I adore talented people.
But if'n you get up in front of people with yer pants undone..... well.... a body's gotta ask the question. What for undo pants when talent transcends having to?

And I'm having humour too.

I didn't know who it was before somebody pointed it out. Though I've never been a fan of hers, and I'm not a paid photographer (any longer), I do think it's one of the more interesting posed R&R photos that I can totally imagine ran in Rolling Stone or some other newsstand music mag. I think it's interesting.

Why are her pants undone?
How does she play the guitar holding it that way?
I have so much to learn.

Why would she (or ANYone else) wear those shoes?!!

I've never been able to comprehend the entire idea behind 'high heels'.
I perceive of them as nothing but an accident waiting to happen.

I think lots of women wear lots of things because it seems normal to wear clothes to please men...they've been doing it for a long time.
I do think they look awesome in stupid shoes and uncomfortable underwear, but some days it seems weird.
Some of the things they put themselves through to look the way they do, seems excessive.
Men are willing to do 5% of that sort of nonsense to look good for the ladies.
