That's right. And as much of a Paul Westerberg fan as I am, Tommy has had a far more consistent post 'mats career. Go find his two albums under the band name Bash and Pop, his two under the name Perfect, his two solo albums (Village Gorilla Head and One Man Mutiny), and he has an upcoming one with a thing he calls Cowboys in the Campfire.

Honestly not a song on any of these I ever consider hitting the "skip" button for.

Producer Jim Dickenson is on record as saying Tommy is the embodiment of rock and roll, and I'd have a hard time arguing with him on that.

Iommi credits Anderson with Black Sabbath's success as during his stint with the band (about three weeks or so) he was impressed by Tull's work ethic and starting at 9am each day which was then applied to Sabbath with good results.

In all seriousness, I don't recall Townshend playing a stack three cabinets high. There's many photographs of him playing stacks two high. So, he either has the greatest vertical leap in history or the photo has been shopped.
