Not my first concert, but it was the best ever! Saw the show in Hampton Roads, VA. It was mind-boggling to hear that much music coming from five people.

I've seen this picture before, and I've always wondered if:

a) This is an optical illusion,
b) A rush of adrenaline suddenly hit him, or
c) Mr. Townshend simply had some serious hops! This is not your typical stage leap!

But then I saw this version of the pic:

Whichever one happens to be the real, un-manipulated picture, it's cool either way!

One of my Thunderbird brethren posted this great shot of Tom Hamilton - What trip to play for such a huge crowd!

I look at that pic of 16 year old Joan Jett and realize that she (and I) have grown a bit older!!
She is a few months older than me.....I think she's still a hottie.
