In the 70's that was a fan, today that's approaching stalker status,..... or if true a cash cow.

If tickets were roughly $5-8 in 75-78 that's in the neighborhood of 26K! To give some perspective, that would be $125,858.54 US
today.

Not only that, but even at a rate of 12 shows a week it would take almost 7 years of continuous touring.

Oh man, what a street 48th was. And not just for Manny's and Sam Ash but also for the host of smaller music stores. The latter were generally on higher floors and specialized...string shops, flutes/brass, etc.
