That’s the infamous Dawk mod. He had a Fireglo one that Dawk modded that way as well. AKAIK, that was done right after the Made in Japan tour. Roger had that Jetglo 4001 returned to somewhat original by a luthier in Milwaukee when he was touring here 10 or so years back. Not sure what happened to his modded Fireglo 4001.

I saw Kix the night the Rodney King verdict was announced. By far the loudest show I've ever seen. My ears were still bleeding for days after the show.

A great garage rock band I "discovered" just as they started dying off : Dead Moon.

Another piece of Faces trivia. Rod Stewart is currently touring the UK and no doubt he will have the popular Faces song, 'Ooh La La' in his set list, but Stewart hated the song and called the album, "A bloody mess". Ron Lane and Ron Wood wrote 'Ooh La La' and Ron Wood did the vocals because Stewart refused to!
