So that picture of Willie got me thinking of my dad, who got into the outlaw country thing, both as a fan of the music and the lifestyle, if you know what I mean. The 70s were pretty crazy for him, but he sorted him self out later in life. I have a pile of his albums now, and am listening to Outlaws while writing this and searching for some pictures to post. Here you go......

A good friend comes over to jam off and on and says how much he likes The Outlaws. I say I have always been a fan of Waylon, Willie, Johnny, Tompal, and Jesse. He gets a quizzical look and exclaims No you know High Tides And Green Grass. To which I answer Oh The Second Generation Kids. Frustrated he leaves. I pull out my well worn and scratched Tan and Black album and pass it around to the rest of the group and holler Let's try Put Another Log On The Fire!
