Well done, rotoscoped video. Lot of man hours on that one.
That was the episode where I first heard of them and got me hooked.Aerosmith on The Midnight Special TV Show 1974
I saw this at the time too, I was 16.
Saw them live with Mott the Hoople and Slade on the bill, I think Mott the Hoople was the headliner.
It's funny as I listen to this, it reminds me how much better a lead guitar player Brad Whitford has always been than Joe Perry.
They really did figure out to to intertwine their playing into a powerhouse unit, very much a hard rock version of Keith Richards and Mick Taylor.
Eric always seemed to have more "looks" than ANY other rocker. He changed his look a zillion times. But the second picture you posted doesn't even look like him at all! Am I just not seeing it or was Eric sick that night and someone else stood in??
I thought the same thing that Eric sure did change his appearance often.

That last photo always cracks me up. Have you ever seen a band look so tired of each other?
It seems that many bands get pretty tired of each other when they are battling their drug addictions.
