The impact those five men have had on the world...I don't believe we'll ever see that again from any sports or music figures.
A bit of trivia - the Beatles were supposed to visit then-heavyweight champion Sonny Liston's camp, but Sonny didn't want to have anything to do with them.

I heard Sonny had a few choice words for them, too.
It's interesting that Ali (then Clay) decided to play it up with them. Maybe he had a feeling they were gonna be big...well, bigger than they already were!
Oh well. One could only hope what could of been. My apologies if these caused any undo grievous harm!

No, I don't know how to play the harp.

I keep it tuned up…it's missing a half dozen pads…I play it around campfires a few times a year.
It's a vivid reminder of the battles I once had lugging an Acoustic 360 cabinet around.
It was that cab that convinced me that there just had to be a lighter way of making music!
I'm looking forward to tracking Mildred Dilling, and Deborah Henson Conant down, out on the web.

That's not a didgeridoo, it's an oversized rain stick that I found at a pawn shop while we were road-trippin' (or something) across the Great Plains.
("Where are we gonna PUT it?" she asked, consternation in her voice. "I'm not sure, Love, but it's got to come home with us!" he said with a lilt in his voice.)
Percussion instruments are the other things I collect.
My sister says I am the easiest person in the world to buy a present for.
