The great thing is that Argent and Blunstone, with three additional players, are still out there touring, and as long as Colin's voice holds up, why not? I had heard about the Texas Zombies; a similar situation happened with the Electric Prunes, where management and the producer replaced the entire band for a later album(one track from those sessions ended up on the Easy Rider soundtrack album), and then there was the saga of the fake Fleetwood Mac. In the post Green/Spencer, pre-Buckingham/Nicks years in the wilderness, with Kirwan and Welsh and a revolving door of others, their own manager would send out bogus Macs in order to double dip. Lawsuits ensued, with Mick taking on control eventually. Throwing a band together for gigs after a studio only concoction becomes a hit is nothing new; the Grass Roots is a perfect example. There were studio musicians that recorded the music.
