Dangerous Men at their work. The J Geils Band. Absolutely the best live band I ever saw. I've never seen before or since a band that could sledgehammer a crowd like they could. Wolf on vocals, the late J Geils on guitar, Magic Dick on harp, Seth Justman on keys, Steve Klein on bass, and Stephen Jo Bladd on drums.
The OG Bad Boys from Boston. But . . . . . listen to them pre-'Centerfold' and MTV. "Live/Full House' and 'Blow Your Face Out' are ' . . . . can you PLEASE turn that crap down NOW?!?!?' records of the highest order.
And now, if you've taken women and children out of the room . . . . . their slightly (!!) up-tempo take on Bobby Womack's 'Looking for a Love', from 'Full House' . . . . .

Indeed! The Woody Guthrie Cultural Center here in downtown Tulsa is amazing. In fact, that very guitar is there!
