Shawn Lane was invited to join and tour with Black Oak Arkansas when he was just 14 years old. As people left the band, he got friends to join and in a few years was recognized as a fusion master. He was a pretty sad and tragic story, having a lot of health problems and dying young.

Great voice! Our LS/BL recently brought up doing Lay Down Sally and The Core, so I'd likely be doing the Clapton vocal part with her.
