It is silly, you come to a party that's been going on for a 14 months and the first thing you say is that everything that happened so far is MEH but you're going to get this party started! Yay!
I assume you might be able to see why that is a bit inflammatory towards everyone else at the party?
While I think your posted pics are just nifty, there are lots of the most well known (cool) rock n roll pics posted in this thread, for instance the Annie Leibovitz shot Rolling Stones pic that NealBass just posted.
This thread is not a contest, and it is not about who can post the newest released/rarely seen rock n roll pics, it's just a fun thread for people here to share what they think are cool rock n roll pics to entertain each other.
So I agree, let's keep it fun.

Annie is a legend, but who hasn't seen virtually every shot she's taken?
I'm guessing I have more than a few years on you / most here and merely enjoy new discoveries over retreads.
plus, any pics I post I take effort to present them at their best, having spent the time cropping and improving the quality instead of typically shotgunning whatever I find onto a thread. some may care, others may not.
we're ALL enjoying this thread despite any petty niggles. let's carry on with more fine pics.
