IMO, the coolest color is no color at all:

actually no color at all would technically be black

It used to be burst but lately I'm digging the Olympic white.

Surf Green , Fiesta Red and Shoreline Gold , but no matter the color a custom color headstock bumps up the coolness factor a few notches .

Maybe a good thread idea tho: Post a Fender custom color with the car it shared the color with.I think Lake Placid Blue is fairly easily found.

In the late seventies, Fender introduced a range of International Custom colors, i will own one of these or a reissue capri bass someday

Burgandy Mist Metallic is one of my all-time faves but it isn't in the current Fender color chart.
