Coolest Usable Effect Pedal for under $200

indubitably.

in combination with various dirt, it has become an integral part of my sound. Sometimes subtle, sometimes not. Not quite "always on" but it's my go-to phaser/envelope effect

Hmmm. Because I feel I got my hands on a good USA big version of the Small Stone...that I want to add an expression jack to. They do it at analogman.com. But I did not realize that the SPP had a expression input AND a filter section.

Is the filter section more subtle? I kinda wish I kept my Emma around now.

For me, it's a used Pigtronix EP-1... I love that thing. I've been playing around with it a lot more lately. It's not perfect... As some people have said on here before the resonance and intensity knobs need almost inverse settings when switching between EF and LFO modes. And I haven't had the joy of getting to play with an original Mutron III or a Lovetone Meatball or any number of other expensive filters... but that's okay. I'm perfectly happy with the range of FAT, funky sounds I can get out of this thing!
