I still have the prototype, and I end up using it a lot. So, I can imagine that the finalized one with the new toggle is gonna be awesome. It's nice to have an octave that can get that same dirty quality as the OC2, but then have some gain on tap, and a few more features to boot. How are you liking yours so far, NJ?

I just got it today. I'm still getting used to how the knobs interact with each other BUT for right now it's definitely a step above the oc-2. Volume output is kinda low but volume knob can do a slight boost so no problem there. It's so nice having the available gain on tap with the filter and the ??? knob. Tracking is great too. The wet switch makes my octaves sound ****ing PHAT. Love it and I think it's awesome. Definitely a keeper.

How long can it track? Open A string/5th fret on E string like most other octavers out there?

I just got the tracking number for my Cubic! I got the exp mod on the ??? parameter. I will make a sweet octave shoot out vid when it arrives!!!

Does anyone know how the single octave down tone compares to the Octamizer? Obviously the Cubic can get more synth-y on one end of the spectrum. I'm just curious cause I haven't been 100% satisfied with my Octamizer and this sounds like a fun pedal.

Bringing back an old thread as I am in the search for an octaver. The video demo's firmly place this pedal in my crosshairs. I'm playing both passive basses but some people had mentioned difficulty with active basses. Is this still the case? My G&L L1505 isn't active but the pickups are super hot.

I'll vouch for that. They are super sensitive to input levels but are awesome with either a compressor before them or just backing off the volume a little.
