copley custom 5-string?

Hey guys,

I was going to buy a cort artisan a4. I decided that was a little over my budget so I started looking for good used basses. There is a guy selling a copley 5 string custom bass for $250 in perfect condition. Is this a good buy, because it's cheap but is copley a good brand.

Does anybody know how much a copley custom 5 string would run new? So if anybody knows abou8t this brand please share with me.

a 5 string for $250 is usually a good buy.

I think this is one of those only-available-on-eBay brands. Like SX, someone orders them from china with their logo on the headstock.

This bass was originally sold off of eBay, but it's been sitting in the guys house for five years. So it's still in mint condition. I think I should probably get it.

bass player did a review a few years ago of a copley 5 string, it may be available on their site. I remember it being fairly positive and the price being more than $250. Not sure if it is the same copley or not, but worth looking into.
