Cort replacement parts are hard to come by. But if I remember correctly, the neck on my GB44 would have been a direct replacement for a 21 fret fender neck.
Honestly, I think you'll have a hard time coming across the neck for a GB55, but maybe you could contact a Cort dealer and ask them to send you a replacement neck from a GB35, which is the bass that replaced the GB55 in the GB series. I imagine the specs are essentially the same.
What exactly is wrong with the neck on the bass that you have?
is the neck 21 fret? You could probably look for a 21 fret, 5 string fender neck which might be a drop-in replacement. Other than that, the only thing I could think of is possibly finding a donor bass on ebay, taking the neck and selling the body. But, as I said before, Cort parts are hard to come by.
Thanks for your response Ron. The neck have 22 frets and he's 2" 31/32 at the heel. I think i'm gonna have a hard time to find a replacement for this neck.
