I would lean more towards using the same first bowing all the the time because I feel that the intention is to shift the accent to the half note. What is not shown in the bow markings is that the half note down bow is preceded each time by two short up bows executed by the wrist and fingers. The pattern gives you greater bow control over style, shortness and steady rythm compared to the two quick down bows (retake) IMO. It is also easier to use the same amounts of length in the same part of the hair. In short, it is a much more balanced, less convulsive pattern.
