Cosmetic jazz bass mods

I'd vote a black/white/black pickguard on there, but a pearl could be good too. Hey, why not get one of each and swap them around as you see fit? Pickguards don't need to be expensive, and it's much quicker and easier to swap them on a Jazz than a Precision.

I found a cannabis leaves one I've been toying with putting on my Olive Green Jazz but I now work in the corporate world….

I like tort, but not the fake printed stuff. I want that real translucent tort, the kind you can get in different colors.

@funkinbottom post has a good colour combo. I also like contrasting in-your-face ideas . . . like a solid black pickgaurd, or a bright red one. or even get a graphic one of the US flag waving.... anything.... I know I'm going to hell for saying this, but I'm really over the "tort" thing. . . I hope they serve beer in hell . . .

I'm pretty sure they don't serve beer in hell - that's why I'm getting my share while I can!

I really dislike tort, having said that, I have a tort on my Olympic white jazz and it looks good. My only other white (more like cream) has a white guard on it and it looks good. I don't like perloid of any color. So, if I was going to put a new guard on my Olympic white jazz, I would go with mint. Very understated and looks great against the white.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist, and like tort as well, and to me Olympic white always should have tort. Now, knowing you don't want that, what about a variation on that, like the tiger stripe (version of tort I guess) from Stevie Ray Vaughn's while 61 strat?
You could add the white knobs and pickup covers to complete the look?

On white/cream body, color pearloid looks nice. I have Purple right now, had blue before, both are nice, as are red/green/your fave color.

I'm thinking gold anodized would look sweet. It would make the Olympic White pop out and the contrast with the pickups would look good as well. But I'm just partial to gold anodized so that maybe is just my thing.
