I'm not a trained mental health professional, but I strongly recommend that you voluntarily commit yourself to better deal with this self-loathing and these masochistic tendencies before they get any worse.

I actually listened through it a total of one time. It just happened to be the time I was responding to that post. As I heard each stutter I typed up the instance and then hit "submit"

This made me throw up a taste of my coffee from this morning. It's now midnight. This whole thread makes me hate humans.

As if you old farts didn't have horrible pop bands marketed at 13 year old girls. :p
On the bright side, as bad as Hillary Duff's cover of My generation(which I for one find hilarious), at least you know in probably no more then a years time from now it will be gone and no one will remember it.
And at the very least with the current crop pop bands coming from Disney, at least they emphasize them as a 'band' to an extent in which there are people playing musical instruments as appose to pre-generated drumloops/simple melodies. It may not be much but it is a foot in the door for many of them to consider taking up a musical instrument. This is at least what I'm seeing in my younger nieces and nephews, some of them already playing the guitar at a very young age(8+).

Just thinking optimistically.

Good to hear. I've also listened to it once and have yet to show any long term effects so I think you're safe.

Actually i credit that to Guitar Hero. While some people here may bash it i think its cool becasue i see a lot of kids who have picked up guitar after enjoying guitar hero... and not in a "i beat guitar hero on expert so i can play guitar easy" type of way but as in actually wanting to learn how to play gutiar.
