Could my bass evolve like a pokemon?

I couldnt resist, because thats what it would be like IF I :

  • Put my MIM P on a table
  • Got a Highway one in the same colour
  • Removed the (black) scratchplate and Seymour duncan SPB3's from the MIM
  • Fitted them to the Highway one (assuming this is possible)
  • Sold the MIM as it would make a few quid never being gigged etc
  • Highway Mon! i choose you!

:p

Is it possible? :hmm:

I guess your right. Their not a huge step up. Theres something in knowing your holding MIA and not MIM though. Still, i think i'll take your advice.

Seriously, the big difference in MIA basses is the hardware and electronics, unless you buy something odd, like the Tony Franklin, Roscoe Beck, or the Delux series.

You have everything covered, the badass will be the final touch.

Darkstrike, bringing a bass into a post containing the name Roscoe?! What gives you the right?! ;)

Yes. It would work. But why? Why not sell them both, or not buy the HW1, and get a used MIA. Problem solved.
